Product information

Designed for Anna to compliment her powerful and quick game, the JOOLA Anna Bright Scorpeus 14mm 3S Pickleball Paddle thrives in the hands of players who are looking for put-away pop in a standard 16” shape. The 3S is similar to the Gen 3 but brings a reimagined Propulsion Core and a fresh UPA-A approval rating (not eligible to be used in USA Pickleball sanctioned events) to the table. The slightly tweaked Propulsion core still sports a foam perimeter with a honeycomb core in the middle that can move separately to trampoline behind the ball for impressive power. However, this new version tones down the power just a smidge for a smoother feel with slower swing speeds and a lower risk of popping up dinks, without sacrificing the plow through ability, vibration dampening, and expanded sweet spot that we have come to love with this core.

Even with the slightly toned-down core, the JOOLA Anna Bright Scorpeus 14mm 3S Pickleball Paddle really brings poppy power. To harness it, we rely on the highly textured Charged Carbon hitting surface. This rigid carbon face offers a crisp feel and increases dwell time so that it can grip the ball and impart spin, keeping our powerful slams, resets, and third shot drops within the lines. The shorter 5.25” handle further plays into this control element by keeping our hand close to the sweet spot and encouraging quick reloads during hand battles.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

The United Pickleball Association of America (UPA-A) recently announced the launch of its s Interim Certification Program with the goal setting new benchmarks for paddle performance and consistency in the sport of pickleball.
