Since the release of the first Perseus, Ben Johns has delivered the goods in terms of on-court dominance, along with some of the best paddle research for JOOLA to use to drive the result of the Perseus 3. Upgrades include JOOLA's Charged Carbon Surface, which is a bonding process that vastly improves the quality and longevity of spin production, while strengthening the ply's of raw carbon fiber, and adds a refined return of energy to your shots as well. Another new feature is the Propulsion Polymer Core which works together with the surface materials to render both manageable back-court power, and enough touch to almost pause time near the kitchen! Generation 3 uni-body construction improves the Perseus 3's predictable level of power, overall paddle durability, and comfort as well. Like the prior model, the Perseus 3 utilizes the same 16.5 x 7.5 x 5.5 in. paddle design for additional reach and room to control the action using one or two hands on the paddle. And not to be outdone, JOOLA pairs all of their Generation 3 paddles with an NFC chip, allowing players to authenticate their P3 with a tap of a phone. The Perseus 3 is available in a slightly lighter, and livelier 14mm. core form or heavier, more control oriented 16mm. option, along with a 4.125, and 4.25 in. grip diameter, respectively.
