Product information

With a retooled 14mm Propulsion Core that is UPA-A Approved (not eligible to be used in USA Pickleball sanctioned events) and the familiar feel of Charged Carbon, the JOOLA Tyson McGuffin Magnus 14mm 3S Pickleball Paddle proves a great option for power players who refuse to sacrifice speed or spin. The 5” handle sets it apart from the JOOLA Perseus and leaves room for an extended 11.5” by 7.5” Charged Carbon hitting surface. This surface has been trusted over multiple lines of paddles thanks to its extreme rigidity and impressively long-lasting texture that team up to promote dwell time and high RPM’s.

As mentioned up top, the 7.9-ounce JOOLA Tyson McGuffin Magnus 14mm 3S Pickleball Paddle sports a 14mm Propulsion Core that creates elite power. This core uses a foam perimeter to suspend a honeycomb core that can trampoline behind the ball to propel the ball past your opponent deep into the court. The two team up to also create a slightly softer feel, an extended sweet spot, and all of the plow through ability you could ever need.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

The United Pickleball Association of America (UPA-A) recently announced the launch of its s Interim Certification Program with the goal setting new benchmarks for paddle performance and consistency in the sport of pickleball. This program looks at Acceptable Deflection Force and Max RPM’s both out of the box and after days of play.

Starting in 2025, all professional pickleball players participating in UPA events, including those in the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) and Major League Pickleball (MLP), will be required to use UPA-A approved paddles.
